Strands

We invite abstract submissions of original, unpublished work from the following strands on second language acquisition:

• bilingualism/second language acquisition and processing
• multilingualism/third language acquisition and processing
• heritage language acquisition and processing
• second language Chinese acquisition and processing
• other related strands

Conference languages: English, Chinese

Presentation format 

All submissions will be considered for both oral presentations (30 minutes, including 10 minutes for discussion) and poster presentations.

Submission Guidelines (Deadline: December 31 2024)

• The word count of the text of the abstract must be 500 words or less (1 inch or 2.5 cm margins on all sides; 12-point font size)
• The abstract should have a clear title and should not reveal the name of the author(s).
• The abstracts must be uploaded as word and PDF attachments to the site: https://wj.sjtu.edu.cn/q/gfnQkg33
• Submissions are limited to one individual and one joint abstract per author, or two joint abstracts per author. 
• The abstract can be written in either English or Chinese
