To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Australia, Centre for Australian Studies at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Centre for Australian Studies at Tsinghua University co-organized the Sino-Australian High-level Dialogue Forum on Culture and Humanities on Dec. 21st, 2022. 

On December 3, the final of the 2022 Shanghai Global Competency English Public Speaking Contest was successfully held at Shanghai Xihua Hotel.

Hu Lingfeng from Grade 2020 of the Japanese Department of the School of Foreign Languages of Shanghai Jiao Tong University won the Grand Prize of Literature Group, and Wang Luer won the third prize of Literature Group, and Cao Lei won the third prize of Language Group.

Last weekend of October 22 and 23 witnessed the convening of the 7th Annual Forum on Second Language Acquisition Research in combination with the opening ceremony of the setup of the Institute for Languages and Wellbeing at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
