Course Overview: The Deep Integration of Language and Culture
"Culture in French and English Vocabulary" went beyond traditional vocabulary and cultural teaching by tracing the evolution of French and English vocabulary from a historical perspective and deeply interpreting the rich cultural connotations carried by these words. Focusing on the vocabulary and culture before the 17th century, the course integrated scientific research results such as the expansion of Chinese character culture and the comparison of Chinese and Western cultures, which spiced up the teaching and helped cultivate students' problem awareness and critical thinking ability.

The course introduced digital avatars as innovative teaching tools, such as Zeus (Greek mythology and the origin of vocabulary), Athena (strategy and wisdom vocabulary), Plato (philosophical thought and ethical vocabulary), Prometheus (ethical vocabulary and emotional understanding), and Leonardo da Vinci (the Renaissance and innovation vocabulary), etc.
(4) Diversified Function Applications of the Intelligent Kit
The course introduced a series of intelligent kits, each with its own focus, to synthesize and facilitate students' learning.
"Culture and Language Link" focused on language and cultural learning. Among them, "Etymology Time Machine" explored the historical origins of words. "Cross-Cultural Communicator" provided strategies for cross-cultural communication. "Bilingual Tutor" taught professional vocabulary, and "Cultural Detective" compared the cultural connotations of English and Chinese words.

The AI toolbox significantly enhanced teaching effectiveness and students' learning experience through a variety of applications such as intelligent vocabulary assistants, cultural comparison analyzers, intelligent grading, intelligent test paper generation, and intelligent lesson preparation.

The course built a cross-cultural intelligent course platform integrating content, form and service intelligence.
