On the morning of January 11, 2025, Shanghai Municipal Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center Award Ceremony and Demonstration Center Construction Experience Exchange Meeting took place in Shanghai University of Applied Science and Technology. Professor Huan Changpeng, Director of the Intelligent Foreign Language Experimental Teaching Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, attended the conference and accepted the award.

It is reported that in order to further standardize and strengthen the construction and management of Shanghai municipal experimental teaching demonstration Center, promote the integration and sharing of high-quality teaching resources, and improve the training ability of innovative talents and students' experimental practice level in colleges and universities, the Higher Education Office of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission officially published in October the Notice of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission on Announcing the List of Shanghai Municipal Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers in 2024. 100 experimental teaching centers from 32 universities participated in the evaluation. Finally 30 three-star experimental teaching demonstration centers, 30 two-star experimental teaching demonstration centers, and 24 nurture-level experimental teaching demonstration centers were awarded. The Intelligent Foreign Language Experimental Teaching Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which relies on the advantages of the School of Foreign Languages, was awarded the three-star experimental teaching Demonstration Center. 

Based on the intelligent integration of learning ,teaching and measurement system, and professional laboratories of speech, eye movement, ERP and listening simulation, the center serves the training of high-level talents of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and also the training of  outstanding and top-notch foreign language talents in language data science.
