  Abstract

This workshop features Dr. Shepherd Steiner from Canada, together with Dr. Yili Tang, Dr. Mengchen Lang, Dr. Bowen Wang and Dr. Li Zou from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, who will engage in in-depth discussions on contemporary literary and art criticism. The respective lecture topics are as follows:

 Speaker Profiles

Dr. Shepherd Steiner is an Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba, Canada, and Editor-in-Chief of *Mosaic: An Interdisciplinary Critical Journal* (A&HCI). His research focuses on literary theory, modernism, and philosophical aesthetics.

Yili Tang is a Tenure-Track Associate Professor at the School of Foreign Languages, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her research interests include narratology and British & American fiction.

Mengchen Lang is a Tenure-Track Associate Professor at the School of Foreign Languages, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her research covers narratology and British & American fiction.

Li Zou is a Tenure-Track Associate Professor at the School of Foreign Languages, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her research fields include comparative literature, literary theory, and nonhuman narrative.

Bowen Wang is an Assistant Professor at the School of Foreign Languages, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on modernism, intermedial studies, and British & American fiction.
