Journal of Second Language Studies

       Journal of Second Language Studies (JSLS)( ISSN 2542-3835 E-ISSN 2542-3843)国际期刊创刊于2016年，由国际知名的人文社科出版社John Benjamins出版。由Boping Yuan(袁博平)担任总主编，吴诗玉、常辉担任执行主编。它致力于提升二语习得和教学领域里的学术交流，推动该领域理论以及教学实践的发展。JSLS特别欢迎跨学科研究，致力于传播与语言学、心理学、认知科学以及社会文化研究相结合来探讨第二语言学习和习得的理论和实践问题的最新成果。此外，JSLS还致力于传播汉语作为第二语言的学习和教学的研究成果。Journal of Second Language Studies为半年刊，第一期以“第二语言加工”为主题，刊登了国际上在二语加工研究领域一些很有影响力的学者的最新研究成果，即将于2018年初推出。

       “With great joy and pride I present to you the first issue of Journal of Second Language Studies (JSLS). The journal is a cooperative venture of Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, China and John Benjamins Publishing. JSLS is aninternationally refereed journal devoted to second language studies. After agestation period of two years that witnessed the collective efforts of university administrators, advisory board members, editorial team, the authors and the publisher, JSLS is now ready to enter the arena of international academic publishing. At this moment in time I like to express our gratitude to those who have support us along this journey and acknowledge their contributions to make JSLS a reality. Now that the journal has been launched it is our obligation to see that the journal matures into a strong presence in the field of second language studies. In order to achieve that we welcome your feedback, your comments, your criticism, as well as your manuscripts. It is our ultimate goal to make JSLS a platform to put forward scholars’ research to a wider audience in the scientific community.”
